Job Overview
MakerGhat is looking for a motivated Program Manager to support program implementation with non-profit and government partners at the school and community level. This entails end-to-end support for the partner including adapting curriculum for the context of implementation, overseeing program roll-outs, and implementing monitoring and evaluation processes.

The ideal candidate for this position will have experience with teaching/training, social media engagement, building curriculum, community and volunteer management, and partner communication. They have also engaged in hands-on making themselves in some capacity.

The role is based in Nashik, Maharashtra and proficiency in Marathi is essential.

Reports to: Director Partnerships

CTC: INR 7 to 9 lakhs (based on experience and quality of work)

Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage end-to-end program implementation with partners, including setup of physical infrastructure, training, curriculum adaptation, and monitoring and evaluation

• Manage relationships with partners as well as educators on the ground

• Advocate for hands-on, experiential, and interdisciplinary learning (within and beyond STEAM disciplines)

• Drive the communication initiatives for the organization across various platforms.

• Travel as needed for training, monitoring and evaluation purposes

• Help prepare reports for partners and support communication (newsletters, press releases, social media content, etc.)

• Actively think about equity and inclusion—across gender, place, and socioeconomic disparities

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in the education or maker space sector

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Design, or Science fields or equivalent practical experience is a plus

• A master’s degree in Education or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is a plus

• Written and spoken competency in Marathi (Speaking other languages is a plus)

• Experience with curriculum creation, syllabus alignment, and content writing and editing

• Excellent communication skills and know how to work independently

• Manages work well and meets deadlines consistently

• Enjoys learning from people of diverse backgrounds
