MakerGhat is hiring for one of our partner organizations in Gurugram, Haryana – Masters’ Union School of Business Makerspace. We are seeking an experienced and innovative Lead Maker to manage the makerspace’s operations, guide its team, and drive a culture of hands-on innovation. This role requires deep technical expertise, leadership skills, and a passion for enabling cutting-edge fabrication and prototyping.

Location: Gurugram, Haryana (On-site)

Reporting To: Makerspace Director

Type: Full-time

CTC : 12 Lakhs 

Key Responsibilities

1. Lab & Team Management

• Lead daily operations of the makerspace, ensuring safety, efficiency, and innovation.

• Manage and mentor educators, assistants, and volunteers.

• Plan, set up, and maintain makerspace infrastructure and equipment.

1. Technical Expertise & Project Delivery

• Operate and maintain 3D printers, CNC machines, electronics workstations, laser cutters, and fabrication tools.

• Support prototyping, robotics, Arduino-based projects, PCB design, and 3D modeling.

• Oversee procurement and vendor management for tools, consumables, and materials.
  

2. Training & Community Engagement

• Facilitate advanced workshops and training for members, students, and professionals.

• Mentor makers on fabrication techniques, design processes, and project execution.

• Promote maker culture through events, collaborations, and showcases.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a makerspace, FabLab, or innovation lab.

• Proven team management and lab management experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline (preferred).

• Strong skills in 3D printing, CNC machining, Arduino, robotics, electronics, and PCB design.

• Experience with lab setup, vendor management, and maintenance.

• Fab Academy Diploma preferred
